A link to our online registration paperwork was sent to you when your appointment was scheduled. Please make sure to submit when received to ensure the doctor has time to review.
The Initial Consultation
Our onboarding process consists of two visits. The first visit is about getting to know you, what’s going on with you, and deciding whether we can help you. Dr. May will review your medical history, ask additional questions, if necessary, and answer any you may have.
He’ll discuss your current goals and how chiropractic will work for your situation. You’ll receive a thorough physical exam, chiropractic tests, and X-rays (if necessary). Your second visit will be scheduled at this time. Please allow one hour for this visit.
Before this visit, Dr. May will evaluate where you are based on your test results and X-rays. When you come in for your appointment, he’ll discuss the results with you. This is called the report of findings. He’ll show you what was found, your state of health, how we can help, and where we can get you to.
He gives his recommendations for care and discusses what your personalized care plan will look like. If you decide to continue with care, you’ll receive your first adjustment today. Your health is your choice; the final decision is always yours.
When you book your first appointment, our staff will inform you that the initial visit is $40. On your second visit, our billing staff will go over your financial plan. This includes what insurance will pay, and the benefits of self-pay. All self-pay patients receive a 20% discount when paid on the date of service.
We accept most insurance plans, Medicare and VA health patients. All major credit cards are also accepted. Please speak with our friendly staff if you have any questions.
